Teaching the principles of sustainable design
Holcim has launched the Holcim Sustainable Construction Academy, an open-access online training program on low-carbon, circular and regenerative design concepts. Developed to upskill professionals in the built environment, it offers free online and in-person teaching.
experts teach a 10-module online curriculum
The 10-module curriculum will enable professionals to measure the impact of their projects from an early stage of the design process. It focuses on topics including upfront to operational emissions, circular construction and building materials innovation.
CPD certified upon completion
All of our courses are Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certified and upon finishing the modules, participants will receive a shareable certificate. The CPD Certification Service is widely recognized by the international construction sector, and it ensures training courses, seminars and learning activities are compatible with the CPD policies of the industry.
Knowledge from leading Minds in the industry
Experts from Holcim Group and Holcim Innovation Center collaborated with professors from the University of Cambridge, ETH Zurich, and architects and engineers from ARUP, Ramboll, Zaha Hadid Architects, Henning Larsen and others to design the curriculum.
